At PodHub, powered by Healthy Mind by Avik™, we believe that trust is the foundation of every honest conversation, including this one.
This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your personal information when you visit our website at www.podhub.club, listen to our podcast episodes, subscribe to our newsletter, apply to be a guest, purchase any product or service, or interact with us across any platform or channel.
PodHub is owned and operated by Avik Chakraborty, Founder of Healthy Mind by Avik™, operating through Digitimes Pvt Ltd (hereinafter referred to as "PodHub", "we", "us", or "our").
By using PodHub in any capacity, you agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of our platforms.
1. Information We Collect
A. Information You Provide Directly
When you register, subscribe, contact us, make a purchase, or apply to be a guest on any of our shows, we may collect:
Full name; email address; phone number where provided; billing address and payment details processed securely via our payment partners as described in Section 6; social media handles or profile links; professional background or bio for guest applications; and any other information you voluntarily submit via our contact, guest application, or checkout forms.
B. Newsletter and Subscription Data
If you subscribe to our newsletter via Substack or any embedded form on our website, we collect your email address and subscription preferences. This is used solely to send you content updates, episode recommendations, and network news. You may unsubscribe at any time via the link included in every email.
C. Podcast Listening Data
Our podcast episodes are distributed through third-party platforms including but not limited to Captivate (our hosting provider), Spotify, Apple Podcasts, Google Podcasts, YouTube, and RSS feeds. These platforms may collect listening data, device information, and engagement metrics independently, under their own privacy policies. We receive only aggregated, anonymised analytics such as total downloads, episode performance, and geographic listener data. We do not receive personally identifiable listener data from these platforms. YouTube data is additionally governed by Google's Privacy Policy at policies.google.com/privacy. D. Usage and Activity Data
When you visit www.podhub.club, we or our service providers may automatically collect: IP address; browser type and version; device type and operating system; pages visited and time spent; referral source; and cookies and similar tracking technologies.
E. Social Media Interactions
If you interact with us on Instagram (@healthyminds.pod), LinkedIn, Twitter/X, or Facebook, those platforms collect and process your data under their own policies. We may receive limited data such as messages, comments, or follower information through those platforms' native tools.
F. Guest Referral Submissions
If you submit a guest suggestion through our website or by email, we collect the information you provide about the suggested individual, including their name, bio, social links, and any topic notes. By submitting a referral, you confirm that the information is truthful and accurate to the best of your knowledge, and that you are not submitting the referral with intent to harm or defame the individual being suggested. All referral data is handled in accordance with this Privacy Policy and retained for up to 24 months.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information collected for the following purposes:
To operate, maintain, and improve www.podhub.club and our podcast network; to process and fulfil purchases, memberships, subscriptions, and service packages; to respond to enquiries, guest applications, referral submissions, and support requests; to send newsletters and content updates to subscribers who have opted in; to send transactional communications such as payment confirmations, receipts, and service updates; to analyse aggregated listening and engagement data to improve our shows; to detect, prevent, and address fraud, payment disputes, security issues, or technical problems; to comply with applicable legal and tax obligations; and to protect the rights, safety, and integrity of our platform, team, and community.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to any third party for marketing or commercial purposes.
3. Paid Products and Services
PodHub offers the following paid products and services through our website: Podcast Membership and Subscription providing access to exclusive content, episodes, or community features on a recurring basis; Guest Appearance and Sponsorship Packages covering paid placements, sponsored episodes, or branded guest features across our network of 20+ shows; Courses and Digital Products including educational content, resources, or downloadable materials; and Advertising and Brand Deal Packages covering promotional integrations within our podcast episodes or digital channels.
When you make a purchase, we collect the information necessary to process your transaction, including your name, email address, billing details, and payment information. We do not store your full card details directly. All payment data is handled securely by our authorised payment processors as described in Section 6.
All purchases are subject to our Terms and Conditions. In the event of a refund, dispute, or chargeback, relevant transaction data may be shared with our payment processors and, where required, with applicable financial or legal authorities.
4. Guest Applicant Data
If you apply to be a guest on any show within the Healthy Mind by Avik™ network, the information you provide, including your name, bio, social links, and areas of expertise, is used solely to evaluate your application, schedule your appearance, and coordinate your episode. This information is not shared with third parties beyond what is operationally necessary. Guest information is retained for a reasonable period following your episode and may be referenced for promotional purposes related to your episode only, unless you request otherwise in writing.
5. Cookies and Tracking Technologies
Our website uses cookies and similar technologies to remember your preferences and improve your browsing experience; to enable core website functionality including checkout and account access; and to analyse traffic and usage patterns through analytics tools.
You may manage or disable cookies through your browser settings. Please note that disabling certain cookies may affect the functionality of some features on our website, including the checkout process.
6. Third-Party Services and Data Processors
PodHub works with the following third-party services and platforms that may process your data on our behalf. Each operates under its own privacy policy, which we encourage you to review.
Payment Processors: Razorpay processes payments for Indian and select international transactions at razorpay.com/privacy. Stripe processes international card payments and subscriptions at stripe.com/privacy. PayPal processes PayPal-based payments and transactions at paypal.com/privacy. These processors are PCI-DSS compliant. We do not store your full card number, CVV, or banking credentials on our servers at any time.
Podcast and Content Distribution: Captivate for podcast hosting, distribution, and analytics. Spotify, Apple Podcasts, Google Podcasts, and YouTube for episode distribution.
Communications and Marketing: Substack for newsletter subscription and delivery.
Community and Social Proof: Famewall for testimonial collection and display.
Social Media Platforms: Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter/X, and Facebook for community engagement and content distribution.
We are not responsible for the independent data practices of any third-party platform. Your use of those services is governed by their respective privacy policies.
7. Data Sharing and Disclosure
We do not share your personal information except in the following circumstances:
Payment processing: billing and transaction data is shared with Razorpay, Stripe, and/or PayPal solely to complete your purchase and manage payment-related communications. Service providers: we may share data with trusted vendors who assist in website hosting, analytics, email distribution, or platform operations, strictly under confidentiality obligations and limited to what is necessary. Legal compliance: we may disclose information when required by applicable law, court order, or government authority. Fraud prevention: we may share data with payment processors or authorities to investigate or prevent fraudulent transactions, chargebacks, or misuse. Safety and protection: we may share information to protect the rights, safety, or property of PodHub, our team, users, or the public. Business transitions: in the event of a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, user data may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify users in advance where reasonably possible.
8. Data Retention
We retain personal information only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes for which it was collected, including to meet legal, tax, accounting, or reporting obligations. Payment and transaction records are retained for a minimum period as required under applicable Indian tax and financial regulations. Guest referral submissions are retained for up to 24 months. When data is no longer needed, it is securely deleted or anonymised.
9. Data Security
We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and organisational measures to protect your personal information from unauthorised access, loss, misuse, or alteration. These include secure servers and restricted internal access; encryption of sensitive data in transit and at rest where appropriate; PCI-DSS compliant payment processing via authorised third-party gateways; and regular review of data handling practices.
However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure. While we take your privacy seriously and do our best to protect it, we cannot guarantee absolute security. Use of our platform is at your own risk.
10. Your Rights and Choices
Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:
Access: request a copy of the personal information we hold about you. Correction: ask us to update or correct inaccurate or incomplete information. Deletion: request deletion of your personal data, subject to legal and operational requirements. Note that transaction records may be retained as required by applicable law. Opt-out: unsubscribe from marketing or newsletter communications at any time using the unsubscribe link in any email we send. Portability: request your data in a structured, commonly used, machine-readable format where technically feasible and legally applicable. Restriction: request that we restrict the processing of your personal data in certain circumstances, for example where you contest the accuracy of the data or object to our processing. Objection: object to processing of your personal data where we rely on legitimate interests as the legal basis, including objecting to direct marketing at any time. Withdrawal of Consent: where processing is based on your consent, you may withdraw that consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal.
For EU and EEA residents under GDPR: you have all the rights listed above and additionally the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority if you believe your data has been processed unlawfully.
For Indian residents under the DPDP Act 2023: you have the right to access, correct, and seek erasure of your personal data. You may nominate a representative to exercise these rights on your behalf. You also have the right to withdraw consent given to us, subject to legal obligations.
For Canadian residents under PIPEDA: you have the right to access personal information we hold about you and to challenge its accuracy. You may direct complaints to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
For Australian residents under the Privacy Act 1988: you have the right to access and correct your personal information and to make a complaint to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.
To exercise any of your rights, please contact us using the details in Section 16 below. We will respond within 30 days of receiving your written request.
11. Legal Basis for Processing
We process personal data on the following legal bases:
Consent: where you have expressly opted in, for example through newsletter subscription or guest application. Contractual necessity: to process purchases, memberships, and service agreements you have entered into. Legitimate interests: for platform improvement, security, fraud prevention, and analytics, where these do not override your rights. Legal obligation: to comply with applicable laws, tax regulations, and financial reporting requirements.
12. Children's Privacy
PodHub is not intended for individuals under the age of 18.
In accordance with India's Digital Personal Data Protection (DPDP) Act 2023, we do not knowingly collect personal data from minors under 18 years of age without verifiable parental or guardian consent. Minors are not permitted to make purchases or register for paid services on this platform without such consent.
If we become aware that a minor's data has been collected without appropriate consent, we will take immediate steps to delete such data and, where applicable, reverse any associated transactions.
If you believe a minor has provided us with personal information or made a purchase, please contact us immediately.
13. International Users
PodHub serves a global audience across 20+ shows and 200,000+ downloads worldwide. If you are accessing our platform from outside India, please be aware that your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in India, where our primary operations are based. We take appropriate steps to ensure that such transfers comply with applicable data protection laws.
For users in the European Union or European Economic Area, we process data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) to the extent applicable. For Canadian users, we process data in accordance with the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA). For Australian users, we process data in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth). Nothing in this Policy limits any rights you may have under the mandatory data protection laws of your own jurisdiction.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, legal requirements, platform features, or payment services. When we make significant changes, we will update the Last Updated date at the top of this page. For material changes affecting your rights or how we handle payment data, we will make reasonable efforts to notify you directly. Continued use of PodHub after any update constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
15. Governing Law and International Users
This Privacy Policy is governed by the laws of India. For matters arising under Indian law, disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Gurugram, Haryana, India.
For users located outside India, nothing in this Policy limits any rights you may have under the mandatory consumer protection or data protection laws of your own jurisdiction that cannot be waived by contract. EU and EEA users retain all rights under the GDPR. Canadian users retain rights under PIPEDA. Australian users retain rights under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).
